Could anyone explain this reoccuring dream?

In this dream, I am standing in the parking lot of a local shopping center while everything is black and white. Then all of a sudden, acorns fall from the sky, and a sesame street or muppet looking character is on top of the retail buildings like commanding something to everyone. I’ve always taken it that that character is demonic or something.
